Unlocking your phone by code does it work?

Yes it does but not always and it turns out to be more expensive when it doesn’t work!

Most dct4 phones can be unlocked by code but there is also just as much chance that the code does not work it all depends on the code generated code generators always give more than one code a total of seven with one primary which is the one used to unlock it.

You can only try 3 codes in your phone before it becomes counter blocked after this you can only use direct or remote unlocking to unlock it this applies to all phones so do some homework before you unlock it by codes it will cost you  wasted money and time iv had a large number of people calling and asking me about unlocking there phone after it dint work online also they are also disappointed that they have been charged from £2.99 to £15.99 and the phone code dint work or they had to ring 0906 number at £1.50 a min to be told that there phone wasn’t listed either way they lost money.

They must make a fortune in unclaimed money or rip off phone calls don’t loose out to these rip off merchants.

DO IT PROPERLY!

Where ever you go  to get your phone unlocked get them to show you your phone is unlocked but also make shore your phone is not barred before you take it as we have been advised to contact the police in all cases.!

DO WE USE CODES ?YES!

Its getting more and more difficult to unlock new phones with no exceptions the manufactures are sick and tired  of loosing there customer through unlocking and are making it very hard to unlock even the simplest and cheapest phones on the market today .

So what measures are in place for nokia phone for eg.

Some old nokia dct3 lets say are fairly easy to do as long as you have the equipment for eg dct 3 models are nokia 3310,

Then you have dct 4 eg 6230 these are fairly easy to unlock.

Then you dct4 + these are not always possible to unlock

 type *#0000# it will give you some details about your phone the one you need to know is firmware version like for example you will see 04.61 if you have any nokia with firmware version stating with 0 zero It can be unlocked but sometimes it may have to be flashed for eg nokia sl2 bb5+ 4.81 needs flashing to firmware 9.60 so you will need and its always best to backup and info on your phone prior to taking it shop anywhere for unlocking and also fully charge it as well .

THE MODELS BELOW ARE ALSO CLASSED AS SL2 THESE CAN BE UNLOCKED BUT CHECK THE FIRMWARE FIRST .

These are classed as sl3 and at the moment are very difficult to unlock.

Now sl3 models dct 4+ 2680 eg

Look for firmware 50.17 or 50.16

On nokias especially new ones always check your firmware version before you try to unlock it
